Senior Software Engineer
Tidway is seeking a Senior Software Engineer to ship an iOS and Android agentic application to the App Store and Google Play, and deploy it for an initial enterprise customer. This role is hands-on, outcome-driven, and suited for an experienced engineer who is comfortable owning delivery end-to-end from interpreting product intent to shipping, deployment, and production support.
Requirements
- Senior-level experience shipping production software to real users
- Proven experience managing engineering teams
- Exceptional skills in the latest development practices, including agentic-development
- Proven ownership of releases, including post-deployment support and incident handling
- Strong experience with TypeScript / JavaScript
- Strong experience with React / TypeScript / JavaScript
- Hands-on experience developing for iOS and Android SPA
- Experience preparing, signing, and submitting applications to public app stores
- Ability to independently author requirements, technical designs, and specifications
- Strong written and spoken English.
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science (or related field)
Will be a plus
- Native mobile development experience in Swift and/or Kotlin
- Experience with Microsoft Azure, including:
- IAM and access control
- Infrastructure as Code (Bicep)
- Azure Service Apps
- Monitoring and observability
- Experience coordinating releases across mobile apps, backend services, and cloud infrastructure
- Comfort improving deployment and release processes over time
Responsibilities
- Ship and maintain a production SPA-based application for iOS and Android SPA-based application, handling native mobile concerns as needed
- Manage the end-to-end mobile build process, including signing, submission, and follow-through for both the Apple App Store and Google Play Store
- Transform backlog items into clear requirements, comprehensive technical designs, and well-tested implementations
- Shape deployment and release strategies by coordinating application updates with cloud infrastructure changes
- Design and continuously refine agent behaviors and workflows within an agentic system architecture
- Drive development within an early-stage, fast-paced codebase built on solid architectural foundations
- Take shared ownership of production stability, active incident response, and continuous operational improvements
- Collaborate closely on a daily basis with a small team, ensuring effective synchronization with a US West Coast-based senior engineer
